This policy explains what personal data we collect through drinkkratos.com, why we collect it, and what you can do about it. It is written to meet our obligations under the General Data Protection Regulation and the ePrivacy Directive.
We do not sell online. We have no cart, no checkout and no customer accounts, so there is a good deal we simply never collect.
1. Who we are
KRATOS is a beverage brand operating under American Household. American Household SRL, registered in Bucharest, is the data controller for this website. That means it decides how and why your personal data is used, and it is the entity accountable for the commitments made on this page.

Brand licensing sits separately with KRATOS & Co. in Lisbon, Portugal, which does not control the personal data collected through this website.
2. What we collect and why
When you use the contact form
- Your name and email address
- Your message
- For trade enquiries, your company, market, channels covered and product lines of interest
We use this to answer you and, where relevant, to put you in touch with the distribution partner covering your territory.
When you apply for a job
- Your CV and anything else you send to careers@drinkkratos.com
- Correspondence during the recruitment process
We use this to assess your application. If you tell us you need an adjustment during the process, we use that information only to arrange it, and it plays no part in the decision.
When you browse the site
Cookies necessary for the site to function are always set. Analytics and marketing cookies are set only if you consent through our cookie banner. Nothing optional is set before you choose, and continuing to browse is not treated as consent. Full detail is in the cookie policy.
| Data | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Cookie preference | Remembering what you chose, so we do not ask again for six months |
| Analytics data | Understanding which pages are read and where people leave. Only with consent |
| Marketing data | Measuring whether our advertising reaches the right people. Only with consent |
| Server logs | Keeping the site secure and diagnosing faults |
We do not build profiles of visitors, and we do not make decisions about anyone by automated means.
3. Our legal basis
Under the GDPR we must have a lawful reason for using your data. Ours are:
| Activity | Legal basis |
|---|---|
| Answering your enquiry | Legitimate interests, and steps taken at your request before entering a contract where the enquiry is commercial |
| Recruitment | Steps taken at your request before entering a contract |
| Necessary cookies | Legitimate interests. These are strictly necessary and exempt from the consent requirement |
| Analytics and marketing cookies | Your consent, which you may withdraw at any time |
| Keeping a record of consent | Legal obligation, since we must be able to demonstrate that consent was given |
4. Who we share it with
We do not sell your data and we do not trade it. We share it only where necessary, and only with:
- Our distribution partners, where you have made a trade or stocking enquiry and answering it requires the partner covering your market
- Service providers who host this site, deliver our email and, if you consent, provide analytics
- Professional advisers and public authorities, where we are legally required to
Every provider handling personal data on our behalf does so under a written data processing agreement and may use it only on our instructions.
5. Transfers outside the EEA
Some of our service providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where that happens we rely on an adequacy decision by the European Commission, or on Standard Contractual Clauses together with supplementary measures where no adequacy decision applies.
You may ask us which providers process data outside the EEA and on what safeguard we rely, and we will tell you.
6. How long we keep it
| Data | Retention |
|---|---|
| Consumer enquiries | 12 months from our last exchange |
| Trade and distribution enquiries | 24 months from our last exchange |
| Unsuccessful job applications | 12 months, unless you ask us to delete sooner |
| Consent record | 6 months, then we ask again |
We delete or anonymise data once it is no longer needed for the purpose it was collected for.
7. Your rights
If you are in the EU or EEA you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Correct anything inaccurate
- Erase your data where there is no overriding reason for us to keep it
- Restrict how we use it while a concern is being resolved
- Object to processing based on legitimate interests
- Portability, meaning receive your data in a machine readable format
- Withdraw consent at any time, as easily as you gave it. For cookies, use the Cookie settings link in the footer of any page
To exercise any of these, email info@drinkkratos.com. We will respond within one month. There is no charge, and asking will never count against a job application or a commercial enquiry.
8. How to complain
If you think we have handled your data badly, tell us first and we will try to put it right. You also have the right to complain to a supervisory authority.
Because our controller is established in Romania, our lead supervisory authority is the Autoritatea Națională de Supraveghere a Prelucrării Datelor cu Caracter Personal (ANSPDCP) in Bucharest. You may also complain to the authority in your own country, including:
| Country | Authority |
|---|---|
| Romania | ANSPDCP |
| Greece | Hellenic Data Protection Authority |
| Portugal | Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados (CNPD) |
9. Security
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit and restricted access to enquiry records. No system is perfectly secure. Where we are required to, we will notify you and the relevant authority after a breach.
10. Children
This website is not directed at children. Our caffeinated products are formulated for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has given us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
11. Trade marks
KRATOS is a registered European Union trade mark, EUTM number 019227936, registered on 21 December 2025. It is used under licence.
12. Changes
If we change how we use your data we will update this page and the version number at the top. Where the change is significant we will ask for your consent again through the cookie banner.
Questions about any of this go to info@drinkkratos.com.
